Garmin's New GPSMAP 76
The Garmin GPSMAP 76 has a built-in basemap containing nautical navigation aids such as lights, buoys, sound signals and day beacons along with a worldmap of cities, lakes, rivers, interstates and exits.
The model 76 also has an 8 megabyte capacity for points of interest detail from one of Garmin's CD-ROMs. It's completely waterproof and includes the following features: 3-D highway page, built-in resetable trip log, RMI/Compass page audible alarms, 500 waypoints and 50 reversible routes, 12 channel WAAS receiver, internal quadrifilar antenna for greater accuracy, large high resolution 4 gray scale FSTN display (180 x 240 pixels), automatic track log, runs on 2 AA batteries for 18 hours and can be interfaced with any electronics with NMEA 0183.
